The MUG Event Calendar for the Week of April 30: Dave Marra of Apple, Christopher Breen, SRS Labs, I.R.I.S., Smart Computing, Nicholas Pyers, and a “4-Minute Film Festival”
May’s MUG Event Calendar kicks off with a host of notable speakers, guests and presentations.
Apple Sr. System Engineer will be the featured speaker at a group in New York and Macworld Contributing Editor and MacNotable Christopher Breen will visit a Colorado Mac User Group to talk on troubleshooting. The publisher of Smart Computing magazine will speak in Connecticut, SRS Labs will present their audio-enhancing iTunes plug-in in California and user group activist Nicholas Pyers re-joins the fray by presenting in Australia.
Other topics at MUG meetings this week include the new Adobe Creative Suite CS3, VOIP, iPhoto, Digital Scrapbooking, Toast 8 and more.
Our meeting pick of the week goes to the Santa Fe Macintosh User Group for their “4-Minute Film Festival.” Video is hot and there’s no better way to get everyone involved than creating a platform where creations can be seen.
