The MUG Event Calendar for September 3: Christopher Breen, Prosoft Engineering, Mariner Software, Web Design, iLife ’08 and More
September jumps to a fast start on The MUG Event Calendar, with appearances by a MUG favorite, vendors, Apple’s newest software and more.
Christopher Breen of Macworld, PlaylistMag and MacNotables will visit MacGroup-Detroit, the good folks at Prosoft Engineering make yet another Mac user Group stop, this time in Texas, and Logan Ryan of Mariner Software will be the featured presenter to an Illinois MUG.
iLife ’08, the latest revision to Apple’s digital hub software, will be on the agenda at many groups in many locations, including Australia, New Mexico, Florida, Illinois and Massachusetts.
Other topics on the slate include Automator in the United Kingdom, going back to school at a campus Mac user group, the Mac OS X upgrade cycle in Australia, disk utilities in Pennsylvania and a slideshow contest in New Jersey.
What’s your group up to? Let us know by email and we’ll add it to our weekly Briefing and The MUG Event Calendar. No charge, no problem, no reason not to. Do it!
