The MUG Event Calendar for September 17: Bob “Dr. Mac” LeVitus in Person Ted Landau and Graham Nash on Video, Prosoft Engineering, John DeTroye of The Apple Store, Two Picnics and a Mac Acronym Contest
Another busy week on The MUG Event Calendar finds some notable presenters, a vendor visit and at least three socially-oriented meetings.
Bob “Dr. Mac” LeVitus will virtual-visit a group in South Carolina while one of Ted Landau’s Macworld talks will pair up with a video by Graham Nash in Texas. Christopher Breen gave so much to a Hawaiian MUG last month that they are doing a rehash of his visit this week, while the folks at Prosoft Engineering are doing yet another user group presentation, this time in California. John DeTroye of Apple will present to a campus group in Utah.
Groups in Maryland and Michigan are planning picnic meetings this week, while a California group will have some fun and games with a Mac acronym contest.
Other meetings of interest include a review of all the new Apple hardware and software in China and New York, presentations on security in the United Kingdom and Tennessee, going under the hood of the new Final Cut Studio in Massachusetts and more.
All you have to do to have your group’s information included is to let us know.
