The MUG Event Calendar for November 26: Apple times Four, David Pogue, FileMaker, Leopard, “Red Night” and More
The MUG Event Calendar kicks back into high gear this week with important presenters and informative meeting topics.
Apple is the star of MUG presentations this week, with representatives Bob Bowan and Tony Hayes in California, Dreux Ste. Marie in Texas and Tony Torres in Florida, all showing off Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard.
New York Times Technology Columnist David Pogue will make a virtual appearance in Kentucky, and Beth Nagengast of FileMaker will present their latest offerings in California.
If non-Apple hardware can be the star of a meeting, then that’s what will happen in Los Angeles when the Red Digital Camera Cinema takes center stage at a Final Cut Pro group meeting, while a Boston FCP group will focus on FCP plug-ins.
Other topics for the week include the start of holiday parties, a photo competition in New Zealand, a video festival in Australia, and lots of home-grown presentations of Leopard.
Help us tell the world what your group is doing: email your group’s meeting information to The MUG Center for inclusion on The MUG Event Calendar, and in our weekly round-up and Briefing.
