The MUG Event Calendar for February 25: SmileOnMyMac, Frank Petrie, Final Cut Pro Group Meetings and Widely Diverse Topics
February is almost in the books, but before it goes, there are some interesting things happening at Mac User Groups this week.
Jean MacDonald of SmileOnMyMac will visit a Florida group, Frank Petrie will show off podcasting to a group in New Jersey (God help them), and three different Final Cut Pro User Groups will offer a variety of outstanding speakers, highlighted by a visit to the Los Angeles Final Cut Pro Users Group by members of the inaugural class from the Wounded Marine Careers Foundation, a school that trains wounded Marines for careers in media.
The remainder of the week’s topics vary widely, from Microsoft Office 2008 to itunes, the Googleverse to Leopard, web design to Quicken and much, much more.
Your group’s next meeitng should be here, shouldn’t it? Well then, do something about it! Email the details to The MUG Center and we’ll tell the world.
