The MUG Event Calendar for February 11: Bob “Dr. Mac” LeVitus, Aaron Davis of Apple, Ambrosia Software, Karelia, Software, MacSpeech, Sling Media and Much More
Even with the romantic holiday interrupting the action, the coming week on The MUG Event Calendar is filled with special guests, vendor presentations and more around the globe.
Bob “Dr. Mac” LeVitus will deliver his trademark “State of the Mac” address to a Texas group, Apple Senior Systems Engineer Aaron Davis will talk about Apple’s Macworld Expo announcements at a Maryland MUG, and Michael Simmons of Ambrosia Software will demonstrate their products to an Oregan group. Terrence Talbot of Karelia Software will visit a California group, Andrew Taylor of MacSpeech will demonstrate Dictate to a group in Massachusetts and Melvin Prasad of Sling Media will show off the Sling Box to another California group.
Macworld Conference & Expo and the related announcements continue to have a prominent place at MUG meetings, getting top billing in New Jersey, Wisconsin, Oregon, Pennsylvania, California, New York and beyond.
