The MUG Event Calendar for December 1: Andy Ihnatko, Bob “Dr. Mac” LeVitus, Nicholas Pyers, SmithMicro and Macworld Expo Discount Deadline
Mac User Groups kick back into full gear this week, as the holiday party season starts to show up in The MUG Event Calendar.
Two MacNotables show up on this week’s calendar: Andy Ihnatko will be the featured in-person speaker in Washington D.C. and Bob “Dr. Mac” LeVitus will iChat with a Colorado Mac User Group. User Group activist Nicholas Pyers will be the presenter at a 30th anniversary celebration in Australia, and the folks from SmithMicro will show off their products to a group in California.
Other topics scheduled for this week include Final Cut Express vs. iMovie, a Yankee Swap, a film festival, “Mac Paranoia,” iPhone applications and more than a couple holiday parties and socials.
You’ve got a lot to do this holiday season. So do we. So emaiil your group’s meeting information to The MUG Center. We’ll post it to The MUG Event Calendar and include it in our weekly Briefing. Now, to figure out who’s been naughty and who’s been nice. (As if we didn’t already know.)
