The MUG Event Calendar for April 13: Apple’s Dave Marra Times Two, Scott Kelby, Kurt Schmucker of Microsoft and more “Welcome to Macintosh”
While taxes are on the minds of many Americans this week, there are plenty of great MUG meeting topics and speakers to help ease the pain.
Apple Senior Systems Engineer Dave Marra will present to groups in New Jersey and Oregon, graphics guru Scott Kelby will show off some portrait retouching techniques in Michigan, Kurt Schmucker of the Microsoft Mac Business Unit will demonstrate Office 2008 in Texas, and Welcome to Macintosh gets yet another screening, this time in North Carolina.
The homegrown presentation list is wide and varied this week, and includes MobileMe, scanning, backing up, whether to repair or replace your broken iPod, “making a movie, from soup to nuts,” iWeb, Pages, GarageBand and much more.
Feeling lucky? Why not bet on a sure thing. Email the details of your group’s next meeting to The MUG Center and we’ll put it onThe MUG Event Calendar and in our weekly Briefing.
