Macworld Expo Check-List for MUG Members
Macworld Conference & Expo week starts tomorrow. If you’re a user group leader or member, there are a few things you should be sure to do in preparation:
• Review The MUG Event Calendar – Macworld Expo 2007, the only complete listing of MUG events and activities on the web. Better yet, subscribe to the iCal version so you can take it with you on your iPod, cell phone or PDA for quick, on-site reference. (Administrative note: If you previously subscribed, please re-subscribe due to a change in URL.)
• Be sure to check out our MUG Center at Expo piece and stop by to say hello and talk about Macs, The MUG Center’s new User Groups 2.0 Virtual Conferences, podcasting or whatever else is on your mind.
• The Adobe User Group and Professional Association Breakfast is sold out, so have your hotel give you an early wake-up call on Wednesday so you can try for overflow admission. But we mean early: You need to be there no later than 6:15 AM.
• Run, don’t walk, to get information on the Final Cut Pro User Group Network’s SuperMeet at Macworld Expo. There are a very few tickets left. If you’re into video on the Mac, don’t be left out of the largest gathering of FCP gurus on the planet.
• Want to tap into the best speakers and presenters at Expo? Supplement the MUG Event Calendar with The MacNotables at Expo. “The Mac Experts You Want To Hear From” will be more than just a little busy at Expo. Again, subscribe to the iCal version so you will know where each and every session is being held.
• Watch The MUG Center for a special event to help you wrap up Macworld Expo week.
See you in San Francisco!
