Two Mac User Groups Partner to Produce MacCamp in Michigan
On November 12, two Michigan Mac User Groups will hold another iteration of their annual event, MacCamp.
The Saginaw Macintosh Users Group and Mac-In-Awe Macintosh Users Group recognize that two groups are better than one when creating extra-special events, hence the partnership to produce MacCamp.
In past years the event has featured discussions and demos on topics such as podcasting, Skype, Photoshop, iPhoto, bulletin boards, Google Pages, modems, firewalls, networking iLife, Gmail, .Mac accounts, Mac 101, MacJanitor, software for backing up, purchasing hardware for the Mac and more. This year’s schedule is bound to feature a variety of i’Life ’08, iWork ’08 and Mac OS X Leopard topics, along with other presentations of interest to the members and guests of both groups.
MacCamp will be held at the Wheeler Road Church of Christ in Midland, Michigan starting at 10 AM, and is free to all members. For directions and details, visit the MacCamp pages on both the SMUG or MIAMUG web sites.
