The MUG Event Calendar transitions between months with some terrific meetings and a regional expo with an all-star cast.
Apple itself will be represented on two continents this week, with Dave Marra presenting to a group on Connecticut and Joe Cox visiting a group in Australia. A California group will hold their annual Mac expo that features more than a few names you know: digital photo guru Derrick Story, digital artist Bert Monroy, Christopher Breen and Jason Snell of Macworld, iStockphoto chief evangelist and author Lesa Snider, Mac author Ted Landau, Mac Observer editors Byran Chaffin and Jeff Gamet, The MacCasts’s Adam Christianson, Mac author David Sparks, TidBITS contributor Jeff Carlson, Jean MacDonald of Smile, Mac author Tom Negrino, as well as many other Mac experts.
