The MUG Event Calendar for March 12: Parallels, Windows on a Mac, Photo Contest Winners and Much More
This week’s MUG Event Calendar features only one vendor visit and a host of interesting and original meeting topics.
Plenty of groups have been featuring “Running Windows On A Mac” types of meetings, but this week one group in Washington state will get a visit by the folks from Parallels to show them first hand how it works. Not to be outdone, groups in Missouri, Michigan and Texas will be doing their own examinations of the subject.
Finances and taxes will be the focus of meetings in the United Kingdom, Canada and Washington, while meetings featuring Adobe InDesign will be held in Michigan and Ohio.
The winners of a European MUG photo contest will be announced at a special meeting a the Regent Street Apple Store in London, a group in Virginia will look at the hardware choices among monitors and scanners and a group in Australia will present the ever-important topic of backup.
