The MUG Event Calendar for November 2: Bob “Dr. Mac” LeVitus, the Quo Computer, Electronic Finances, Social Networking and More
The first week of November on The MUG Event Calendar starts off strong, with plenty of informative presentations.
Bob “Dr. Mac” LeVitus will make his annual trek to Chicago this week, to present to the user group there and to partake of his favorite pizza. Rashantha De Silva will present the controversial Quo Computer to a group in California, and a Virginia group will discuss electronic finances. Social networking will figure in more than one MUG presentation this week, as will Apple’s new Magic Mouse.
Other topics on this week’s calendar include the first of the always-popular holiday gift presentations, a presentation on Facebook, green-screening iMovie, a Motion mini seminar and a discussion of education in the 21st Century with Apple at the core.
