The MUG Event Calendar for September 14: Apple’s Dave Marra and Dreux Ste. Marie, Jim Heid, Derrick Story, Welcome to Macintosh, MacHEADS and More
You think last week had some interesting Mac activities? Take a look at this week on The MUG Event Calendar.
Apple hits two different Mac User Groups, with Dave Marra visiting a group in Maryland, and Dreux Ste. Marie presenting to a Texas MUG. Mac author and expert Jim Heid will visit one California group, and digital photo expert Derrick Story will help another California group celebrate their 5th anniversary. As if all that wasn’t enough, the two films dedicated to the Mac experience, Welcome to Macintosh and MacHEADS are both getting time on MUG screens, one in New York and the other in California.
Other topics on the agenda this week include working ergonomically, Bento, Cinema 4D, Mac Speech Dictate, a panel discussion on the “Care and Feedling of Laptops”, Mac games and, of course, Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard.
