The MUG Event Calendar for September 7: Andy Ihnatko, Dave Marra of Apple, SmileOnMyMac, SoftPress, CodeWeavers, onOne Software, Natali Del Conte, Snow Leopard and A FCPUG SuperMeet
Sure, Snow Leopard is pouncing on Mac User Group meetings this week, but that’s just the start.
Apple Senior Systems Engineer Dave Marra is back on the MUG trail in New Jersey, while Chicago Sun-Times columnist and MacNotable Andy Ihnatko will speak to a group in his home town of Boston, and the folks from SmileOnMyMac will show off all their cool software in Colorado. Joe Billings of Softpress will demonstrate the latest developments to Freeway to a group in the United Kingdom, Jon Parshall of CodeWeavers will feature their CrossOver Mac to a California group, Doug Campbell of onOne Software will be the featured guest at a group in Ireland, and TV personality Natali Del Conte will discuss social media at a New Jersey group. And if that wasn’t enough, the second Final Cut Pro User Group SuperMeet will be held in Amsterdam.
Other topics include a whole lot of Snow Leopard introductions and demos, screen capture utilities, Google Apps, iPhoto ’09, the MiFi, 1Password, Termainal, GarageBand, Sound Studio and more and more and more.
Email the details of your next meeting to The MUG Center and we’ll get it listed on The MUG Event Calendar and in our weekly Briefing. We want to hear from you.
