Triangle Macintosh Users Group To Host Jazz Great Branford Marsalis
A great Mac User Group presentation doesn’t have to just be about the Mac. The Triangle Macintosh Users Group (TMUG) will be following that theory this month when they host noted musician Branford Marsalis.
Marsalis, a three-time Grammy winner, saxophonist, musicial lead on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and, most importantly, Mac user, will visit TMUG for the second time. He will take questions from the attendees, discussing composing on the Mac, his efforts as both a musician and a producer, as well as his non-Mac activities in the relief efforts following Hurricane Katrina and as honorary chair of the New Orleans Habitat for Humanity effort to rebuild the city.
If you’re in the Triangle area, you won’t want o miss this rare opportunity to get up close and personal with a jazz legend. Visit the TMUG web site for time, location and details on attending.
