The MUG Event Calendar for the Week of May 23: Adobe, Avid, Philip Hodgetts, Lesa Snider and More
The last full week of May may be a little slow, but several notable meetings are on the schedule.
Several Final Cut Pro groups will have special guests: In Los Angeles, a TV film editor and Avid will be talking production, while in Boston, Philip Hodgetts will discuss Final Cut X and Adobe will cover CS 5.5 Production Premium. In Indianapolis, the FCP group will “show and Tell”, while in Washington D.C., graphics expert Lesa Snider will be talkingk Photoshop CS5.

Michael Krulik, Avid Principal Applications Specialist, will give a 20-minute overview of the latest release of Media Composer software including: capture, monitor, and output support with AJA Io Express; and the PhraseFind option for an all new way to find the right clips fast. Michael Kammes will discuss the hot areas in post production that require encoding, and talk about the right encoding solution for your workflow. |
