The MUG Event Calendar for November 12: Apple’s Dave Marra, Aaron Davis and Tony Torres, Musician Branford Marsalis, James Lee of Tropical Software, Tom Dent of Adobe, Microsoft and a Pack of Leopard
One of the busiest week’s ever on The MUG Event Calendar is on tap this week, and the dominant topic is Leopard, with a healthy dose of guest presenters and other topics thrown in for good measure.
Apple is well represented on this week’s calendar, with Apple Senior Systems Engineer Dave Marra making two MUG presentations of Leopard in Michigan, Apple Senior Systems Engineer Aaron Davis presenting in Maryland and Tony Torres showing Leopard in California.
Musician Branford Marsalis will visit a North Carolina MUG, James Lee of Tropical Software will be the guest speaker in Florida, Tom Dent of Adobe will show off Acrobat in Texas, Microsoft will preview Office 2008 in Oregon.
It would be easier to name where Leopard isn’t on the agenda, with presentations scheduled from Massachusetts to Florida, California to Oregon and all points in between, in the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada and beyond.
Even if Leopard isn’t the main subject, it will undoubtedly be discussed along with presentation topics such as the iPhone, iPhoto, Print Shop, favorite podcasts, blogs, backing up your Mac and more.
Your group could be listed here, but you’ll need to do what the Boston Macintosh Users Group does: email your group’s meeting information to The MUG Center.
