The MUG Event Calendar for August 6: Bob LeVitus, James Lee of Tropical Software, Chuck Rogers of MacSpeech, Google Apps, a MUG Documentary and More
Even though many Northern Hemisphere groups are taking a summer break this month, there are still an abundance of notable presenters, guests and topics slated for this week at Mac User Group meetings.
Bob “Dr. Mac” LeVitus will present to a Texas group, Chuck Rogers of MacSpeech will be in Alabama and James Lee of Tropical Software is venturing north to visit a Pennsylvania group.
A New York group will be showcasing a documentary about their group, and another New York group will focus on the online alternative to some of your standard applications, Google apps.
Other topics scheduled for this week include syncing, the Adobe Bridge, managing the Dock, genealogy, iWeb, Pages, the iPhone, a software demo fair and more.
