The MUG Event Calendar for March 3: Dave Marra and Tom Morton of Apple, Chuck Rogers of MacSpeech and Lots of Home-Grown Meetings
March is off to a good start with a full week of Mac User Group meeting and guest presenters.
Apple Senior Systems Engineer Dave Marra will present to a New Jersey Group, while his colleague Tom Morton will visit a group in Pennsylvania, and Apple Australia representatives will visit a group in their country. On the vendor front, Chuck Rogers of MacSpeech will show off their latest release, Dictate, to a Louisiana group.
Home-grown meeting topics are the norm this week, with topics that include tax software, the Keychain and security, iMovie, podcasting, digital cameras, Microsoft Office 2008 and much more. A New Mexico group will celebrate their 14th anniversary and a campus group will hold a student night that focuses on Mac OS X tips and tricks.
If you just do with the East Bay Macintosh Users Group does, your group’s meeting could be listed on The MUG Event Calendar and in our weekly Briefing: Email the details to The MUG Center and we’ll tell the world.
