Gary Adcock
Chicago Final Cut Pro Users Group
When not jumping out of airplanes, scuba diving with sharks, hanging out with rock bands or blowing glass, Gary Adcock is alive and well in the digital world.
Gary, a Chicago-based digital artist and technology trainer, began his career as a commercial photographer. His artistic eye led him to a stint as a interactive designer, then a director and editor. The world of computer technology had him hooked early on and ever since, he has been paving the way and breaking the bounds of creative artistry. The numerous awards next to the keypunch cards on his shelf attest to his teamwork, leadership, and perseverance. Now, Gary spends his time creating digital magic in print and on screen for clients such as Adobe, Apple, CNN, Leo Burnett, NASA, NBA Entertainment, Pepsi, Sony, Sears, Taco Bell and Target. Gary is the founder and President of the Chicago Final Cut Pro User Group, a founding member of the FCPUG Network, and regional UG liaison for all Final Cut Pro user groups.
