- Need more information on how to run our group than discussions of Tiger and OS information.
Didn't attend
- There were WAAAAY too many items in the drawing at the end of the vendor reception. In fact, there were so many of the robots, that it devalued the fact of winning. It made me wonder if User Group University has become a dumping ground for unwanted stuff. Come on -- *TEN* robots??? And what about the real stuff, like copies of actual sponsor products. Plus it ran 45 minutes over the time limit! The giveaways and raffle drawings need to be better managed. Great that you get lots of stuff to give away, but quality should be valued over quantity.
- The event in total was very good. Please keep Terry White's presentation.
- The only thing I would wish for: more time to be able to interact with a lot more of the attendees.
- i'd pay more if a keynote badge were included. it'd like to see more swag even if it costs me more. $99 with a keynote/vip badge and user group seating. $149 with all that and user conference attendance as well. these are just figures outta the air, i've no idea of costs etc. but it'd be nice to explore all this on the lists over the next few months and work out a real user groupie experience next time round. no seating at the sad little vendor reception, it was really great being shuffled around to find a place to sit down when there was none.
- I have been to all of them, and have always found them to be useful, relevant, and lots of fun. My lukewarm rating on the length of the event is because I always want more!
- This seemed to be more of a celebrity event than past universities. Bring back the sessions that tell us how to make our groups better
- A bigger room for the reception might have helped the noise level and crowding around tables.
- Hands dosn, the best UGU ever!
- The best yet! This presentation was preferable to me over the small vendor table round-robin last time. The Q&A session was a good idea and should be expanded - maybe a couple of sessions with different folks fielding the questions?
- The reception would have been better with more chairs and less talk and announcements.
- I now walk with a cane, and I found it tricky at the Vendor Reception to juggle the cane and the plate for food, plus getting the good on the plate. I would have appreciated more seating so I didn't have to try to eat standing up.
- Why is the cost the same when the event gets shorter?
