dBUG WebObjects SIG Meeting - 3/12 (Seattle, WA)
Our next meeting will be held at 7pm on Tuesday, March 12th at the offices of Bulldog Beach Interactive in West Seattle. Why the change of venue? Apple will be demonstrating WebObjects 5.1, and the nice folks at Bulldog Beach offered up their facilities to give us a bit more room. The agenda will be as follows:
- Introductions
- Employment Opportunities
- WebObjects Resources
- Demo: Apple will be showing WebObjects 5.1
Apple released a new version of WebObjects in January, and they will be giving us an in-depth look at it this month. Some of the new features provide the ability to: create and deploy Enterprise Java Beans, deploy WebObjects applications as JSPs or Servlets on top of third-party application servers, access and manipulate data stored in JNDI or LDAP directory services, and access better reference documentation in industry-standard JavaDoc format.
- Discuss Current Problems and Accomplishments
See the dBUG WebObjects SIG web site for more information <http://www.dbug.org/sigs/webobjects/>.
Directions to the Bulldog Beach office are available here:
