"Creative Corner" Introduced as New Macworld Exhibit Hall Feature
New area is dedicated to helping attendees maximize the creative power of the Mac
IDG World Expo, the leading producer of world-class tradeshows, conferences and events for technology markets, has introduced the “Creative Corner,” a new Exhibit Hall feature at Macworld Conference & Expo®, taking place January 9-13, 2006 at San Francisco’s Moscone Center. The Creative Corner is a dedicated area on the Exhibit Hall floor that is open to all attendees. The Creative Corner will highlight music and audio in the Berklee Dream Studio; digital photography with the “Dr. Is In” digital photography help area; and creative products and services on the Creative Professional Stage and Special Interest Pavilions.
Creative Professional Stage
Several industry-leading organizations that provide solutions for utilizing the Mac for creative purposes will be giving commercial demonstrations at regularly scheduled times throughout the week. Organizations including FileMaker, HP, Fujitsu, Academy of Art University, Filmloop, Exabyte, TOLIS Group, Extensis and AIGA, the professional association for design, will be on hand to discuss and demonstrate their creative products and services.
Berklee College of Music Dream Studio
In a new Exhibit Hall feature at Macworld San Francisco, the Berklee College of Music will present the Dream Studio, a state-of-the-art music studio filled with Mac hardware and software ready to bring your musical visions to life. This attraction will also feature a self-guided tour, music production demonstrations and daily lectures by Berklee faculty.
The Dr. Is In Digital Photography Help
This new Exhibit Hall feature is a complimentary service where attendees can bring prints, camera (bring cables for download) or images on flash storage to the digital photography doctors in the Creative Corner of the Macworld Exhibit Hall and let members of the American Society of Media Photographers give pointers. The Doctors will be in all week.
Special Interest Pavilions
The Special Interest Pavilions have long featured up-and-coming companies and showcased technologies. Attendees with particular interests can experience first-hand the very latest Mac technology for specific market segments in a cohesive setting. Segments include:
